Love/Hate relationship

Raise your hand if you struggle with your relationship with plastic (bags, mostly…).

I bring my reusable bags to the store (shout out to the City of Tumwater for banning plastic bags in stores beginning 2014), haven’t bought a new box of baggies in a long time, and wash out/reuse the ones I have. A co-worker recently said she needed to ship some brownies to Texas and asked for suggestions to keep them fresh. At the same time, someone else brought in some papers zipped in a large storage baggie. I like to think of myself as a “Connector”, so,Voila! I brought the two together, giving the co-worker the baggie for her brownies (after “filing” the papers appropriately, of course!) That same day, this article arrived in my inbox. Plastic bags will come into our lives no matter how hard we try to avoid them. How many ways have you found to reuse plastic bags?
