Joyful Surprise

Joyful Surprise

My 83-year-old mother being greeted by her granddaughter. Mom paid us a surprise visit by flying in a few days before Thanksgiving this year. She said this was “pay-back” for my surprising her on her 80th birthday by appearing in the restaurant booth her friend took her to for her birthday lunch. Her solo trip is all the more remarkable for the fact that we live 2800 miles apart!

[BTW, a synchronicity just occurred as I was posting this–my mom called me!]
