Photo Challenge: Two Windows (and a poem)

Photo Challenge: Two Windows

This is a photo of an oil painting I did of a window in the San Cristobal Main Plaza, Chiapas, Mexico.

Peek-a-boo!

The View

Windows let in light, yet keep out cold;

Illuminate my world & gladden my soul.

I view the storms from safely inside,

But if you came to my window, I’d open it wide.

    Does not the open window let in the storm too? And if the window be opened, why not the door?

      There’s still some control over the open window. You can stand back a bit. The open door is an invitation for the storm to come in and take over. The window is just for safely viewing. Thanks for asking!
