Hello! My name is Gail, and I’m a wife, mother, grandmother, librarian, genealogist, traveler, artist, author; trying to live life to the fullest and have a positive impact on those whose lives I touch.
A frequent theme of my blog posts is Synchronicity. “Synchronicity takes the coincidence of events in space and time as meaning something more than mere chance, namely, a peculiar interdependence of objective events among themselves as well as with the subjective (psychic) states of the observer or observers.” ~ C. G. Jung
I see Synchronicity as a “God-wink,” or a special message from God that he is mindful of me and has a hand in my life. I find that the more I recognized these occurrences, the more I receive. A lovely cycle!
ARTIST

Hi G? Thanks for coming by my blog, reading, and commenting. I like your life-theme. I also watch for God-winks on a daily basis. 🙂
I enjoyed your blog too! Thanks for stopping by.
I agree completely. I’m also a genealogist and artist. ~ Dennis
Dennis, I’m intrigued! What type of art do you do? I work in oils, and really admire anyone who can make a watercolor look great! I’ve been doing genealogy since 1970 and love being able to help people find their “roots.”
So you decided to join the small clan of Uncle Spike followers Gail…. That makes me a happy blogger now – I really appreciate you making that special mouse click.
Hope you like my upcoming posts and if you get bored one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too.
If you have any likes, dislikes or suggestions about my blog, just let me know, either through ‘comments’ or via email. Always welcome reader input 🙂
Have a great old day…

You’re awesome! I love that you have a Jung quote on this page and how you view synchronicity as a “God-wink.”.
;). I’ve been seeing them for a long time. It’s quite a fun exercise.
Hi there, I enjoyed my visit here! Thanks so much for following my blog. Best wishes, Zainab
You’re welcome! I am very supportive of the SAHMs. My 2 daughters are also SAHMs and I know that is a very hard choice economically, but so rewarding in every other way. Your son is very fortunate. Gail
Thanks. I had to think for a second about what SAHM meant!! I didn’t know there was an abbreviation for it! 🙂
I didn’t either until I saw it on someone else’s blog a few days ago! hahaha. Now we are both “in the know”.
🙂
Hi, I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. Congratulations! Please check out this post for details: http://zainabjavid.wordpress.com/2013/12/06/the-versatile-blogger-award/

Love synchronicity. Thanks for stopping by earlier.
You’re welcome! Good luck with the book!
Thank you. I suspect, given the elements of scandal and coverup that it exposes, that the book won’t fly under the radar screen for very long.
Hope it does some good.
Hi gapark, I have nominated you for the Sunshine Award. I hope you will accept it. I think you have a great blog and are well deserving of the award. For more info http://irenewaters19.com/2014/01/17/the-sunshine-award/

A long, long time ago I did read up on C.G. Jung. I found his thoughts quite fascinating. I would not mind getting a bit more re-acquainted with him once more. I think “Synchronicity” is a very interesting concept. I am looking forward to reading more of your posts.
Aunty Uta

Hi, Gail! Thank you so much for dropping by my blog. I’m here to return the favor and have to say that I love your tagline “Finding the miraculous in the mundane”. That is akin to or in-line with the journey I’ve embarked upon this year. To find the magic in everyday, mundane life. 🙂 It truly is a pleasure to meet you!
It’s about gratitude. A grateful person is a happy person. Have a magical day!
Hello! You came and spent time with us at ChasingRabbitHoles.com and graced us with comments. Thank you! I thought to return the blessing and here I find an even greater one. Hello Gail, you have a nice blog. Your thoughts and views on ‘synchronicity’ in particular is very interesting. Coming from India, for me, it is very easy for me to believe that everything is predestined and whatever happens happens for good. One just needs to be patient and willing to wait for it to unfold. Look forward to reading and chatting 🙂
Dahlia! thanks for stopping by! It’s not so much a concept of predestination for me, more a gently sign from above that I am on the right track and I’m being guided or watched over.
This is a lovely blog. Congrats on taking on the A to Z Challenge. I look forward to following.
And I absolutely love your blog! What a great undertaking and so rewarding on many levels. I’m all about family history and the fact that your grandmother is still around to also enjoy your efforts is wonderful. Thanks for stopping by and for the follow
Hi Gail!
I love synchronicity and certainly I believe there are no coincidences. Everything that happens is a part of God’s plan for our lives, and I think those ‘God-winks’, as you suggest, show that God is deeply involved in our personal circumstances.
Nice to find your blog and read about your multiple talents!
Peace and blessings,
Steven
Thanks Steven. Heading your way now
I got it. ‘LDS’ means ‘Latter day Saints’ …
Yea, it’s a nickname we prefer over “Mormon “ but we respond to that as well!
